Tomasa Vuittonet, 71, of Warsaw, died at 8:19 a.m. Oct. 12, 2008, in the home of her daughter, Linda Villa, Warsaw.

She was born March 6, 1937, in Robstown, Texas, to Ponciano and Virginia Bazan Cabrera. On May 5, 1954, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Robstown, she married Alfonso Vuittonet Jr., who died June 2, 1993.

Moving to Warsaw from Robstown in 1970, she was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Warsaw.

Surviving are a son, Jose Luis Vuittonet, Port Lavaca, Texas; three daughters, Sylvia (and spouse Brian) Hopkins, Atwood, and Linda (and spouse Agustin) Villa and Gloria (and spouse Romiro) Rodriguez, all of Warsaw; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Alvarez, San Marcos, Texas; and six sisters: Janie Hernandez, Virginia Castellon, Maria Cordero and Linda Lozano, all of San Marcos; Concha "Connie" Zuniga, Robstown; and Sylvia Gonzalez, Warsaw.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Warsaw, with Father Paul Bueter of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with a rosary service at 8 p.m.
