A 3-year-old girl suffered a concussion and a fractured jaw when she was struck by a car Sunday evening near her residence.
Alexis Eileen Dillon of East Main Street, Warsaw, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, for treatment of her injuries. According to a Warsaw Police Department report, a doctor noted that the child's injuries were not life threatening.
The driver of the car, Paul E. Marlette, 47, of Reider Street, Warsaw, was unable to avoid the accident when Dillon darted into the roadway from between two parked cars, police said.
The accident occurred at 4:47 p.m. on East Main Street, 100 feet west of Reed Street.
