Toddler Found Along Old Road 30

A 3-year-old boy was reunited with his mother after he wandered away from a baby sitter's home Monday.

The boy was found Monday morning walking along Old Road 30, west of Atwood. An employee of Bambi's Roofing picked up the child and took him to Bambi's office.

The employees called the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, which attempted to find out who the child was.

In the meantime, the mother of the toddler arrived at the baby sitter and found the child was missing. The sheriff's department said the toddler told them he was 3 years old, but it took time to actually identify him.

The boy was returned to his mother unharmed.
