The Todd Wolfe Band is coming to Rex’s Rendezvous, Warsaw, Tuesday starting at 7 p.m. There is no cover charge. Wolfe is the former lead guitarist for Sheryl Crow and spent almost five years at that position before returning to his own music, according to information provided by Rex’s Rendezvous. He also was part of The Textones and toured as a duet with Leslie West, guitarist and singer of rock band Mountain. Wolfe and his band released their eighth album “Miles To Go” in Europe and North America this past year. The CD has charted nationwide and received airplay including stations in the Midwest. “Miles to Go” can be heard at Airplay Direct at www.airplaydirect.com/music/toddwolfeband More of Wolfe’s music can be heard at www.reverbnation.com/toddwolfe/songs He received national and international coverage on all eight albums from magazines such as Blues Revue, Living Blues, Blues Wax, Blues Blast, Guitar World and others. The press release states, “The Todd Wolfe Band recall the days when ‘men were men and amps were amps,’ real tubes cracking with a ‘bluesdelic’ sound reminiscent of the best rock and roll bands of the ’60s and ’70s. This band with Roger Voss on drums and the stunning Justine Gardner on bass jams and rocks but their music is deeply soaked in blues.” Crow said of Wolfe’s guitar playing, “Todd Wolfe is one of the best guitarists I’ve ever played with.” Leslie West, of Mountain fame, said, “There are very few guitar players I like better than myself. Todd Wolfe is one of them.” For more information, visit www.toddwolfe.com or www.facebook.com/toddwolfeband
