PIERCETON – Todd W. Danner, 47, Pierceton, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Feb. 26, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Oct. 21, 1968, in Columbia City to Susan Danner and Howard H. Patrick. On June 20, 1991, he married Hyon Yi, who survives. He was a 1987 graduate of Whitko High School. He honorably served in the United States Army 18 months at Fort Steward, Georgia, 12 months in Korea and nine months at Fort Ord, Calif., as an AH-1 helicopter mechanic. He lived in Kentucky for four years, then returning to Pierceton. He enjoyed NASCAR and loved to drag race. He is survived by his son, Thomas Danner, Pierceton; his mother, Susan (and spouse Mike) Stevens, Pierceton; his father, Howard (and spouse Diane) Patrick, Warsaw; a brother, Terry (and spouse Tracie) Stoddard, Columbia City; and two nieces. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorin and Betty Danner. Services will be at noon Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
