FORT WAYNE – Todd Matthew Medert, 50, died suddenly Oct. 27, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital. He married Kristi Burner-Medert, his devoted wife of 21 years, who survives. He was a general manager for Auntie Anne’s Pretzels. He was an active member, as well as the lighting director, for The Chapel. Also surviving are three children: Justin (and spouse Casey) Sutter, Elkhart; and Sabrina and Jared Medert, at home; his mother, Diane; and a sister, Kristy (and spouse Robert) Zink, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Medert. Services are at 2:30 p.m. today at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road South, Fort Wayne.
