Todd Allan Watkins, 44, of Warsaw, passed away at 4:35 p.m. June 15, 2012, in his residence.
He was born Dec. 7, 1967, in Warsaw, to Ed Watkins and Diana Smith and Bill Rhoades.
Living most of his life in Warsaw, he worked at Bentler Inc., Goshen, for five years, and then at Chrysler. He also lived for a time in Tennessee. He graduated from Boot Camp in 1988, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1988-94. He was a veteran of Desert Storm. He was a member of American Legion Post 253, North Webster, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126 and was very active with Wounded Warriors.
Surviving are a son, Eric Watkins, Warsaw; his mother, Diana Rhoades, Warsaw; his father, Ed Watkins, Manistee, Mich.; two sisters, Michelle Bamburg, Bremen, and Stacy Rhoades, Warsaw; two brothers, Jeffrey Rhoades, Columbia City, and Chris Rhoades, Warsaw; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Rhoades; a sister, Lisa Rhoades; maternal grandparents, Dale and Mary Alice Smith; and paternal grandparents, Joe and Inez Watkins. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery, Legion Circle, Warsaw.
