The Barbara Arnold Todaro Scholarship, a generous one-time scholarship available through the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, was awarded to Betsy Paar.
Paar is a 2008 Warsaw Community High School graduate who plans to attend Ivy Tech and eventually Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne to study history. Her goal is to have a career with a museum.
The Barbara Arnold Todaro Scholarship was established by Barbara's family in her memory.
Todaro was a 1948 Warsaw High School graduate. She had a sunny disposition, a keen sense of fun and a zest for life. She attended college where she studied literature and history.
The award in her memory was established to provide assistance to a female graduate of WCHS who plans to study literature or history in college.
