LEESBURG - A Tippecanoe Lake man died Wednesday night after falling through a patio window at his home earlier in the day.
William Johnson, whose age is believed to be 80, of EMS T33H Lane, was pronounced dead at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, according to hospital officials.
A 911 call was received by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department from Johnson's home at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday. Johnson reportedly suffered cuts to his arms and was airlifted from the scene to Parkview.
Plain Township Emergency Medical Service was the responding agency on the scene, and a spokesman there today could provide no information as to the circumstances of the accident or the extent of Johnson's injuries.
