NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION TO ENTER INTO LEASE Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees of Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation ("Board" and "School Corporation", respectively) will hold a public hearing in accordance with I.C. 20-26-7-36, in the Tippecanoe Valley High School Lecture Room, 8345 South State Road 19, Akron, Indiana 46910, at 7:30 p.m., on March 7, 2011 on its proposal to implement a wind power project in the School Corporation at a cost in excess of $1,000,000 (the "Project"). Concurrently with the above hearing, the Board will conduct a hearing pursuant to IC 6- 1.1-20-3.1 on a proposal to make a preliminary determination to enter into a lease with a building corporation established under the provisions of IC 20-47-3 et. seq. for the purpose of financing the proposed Project. At such hearing, the Board will give explanations of the potential value of the proposed Project to the School Corporation and to the community, including the estimated costs and benefits, tax impacts, and funding sources of such project; and interested parties may present testimony and questions concerning the proposed Project, including objections to and support for such project.
