AKRON - The Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation inducted the seven-member Tippecanoe Valley Distinguished Alumni Class of 2026 during two days of activities on Jan. 29-30 at Tippecanoe Valley High School.
The inductees were honored with a formal dinner the evening of Jan. 29 at which master of ceremonies Rita Price introduced each inductee and the educator each named as having a significant impact on their life.
Friday, Jan. 30 was Induction Day at the high school as each inductee made four presentations to students in which they shared words of wisdom, including their work and life experiences that led them to be highly successful individuals. They were then honored at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game when they were introduced and presented a commemorative plaque.
The dinner and Induction Day activities were sponsored by Lake City Bank and Creighton Brothers.
