CROMWELL – A tip regarding suspicious activity in the Cromwell area has led to the arrest of two men on various drug charges.
Bradley Ray Slone, 24, of 302 E. North St., Larwill, and Casey James Louden, 23, of 24286 Lynn Drive, Elkhart, were arrested and preliminarily charged with dealing methamphetamine and dealing marijuana.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Dept. deputy Shane Bucher and Indiana State Trooper Kyle Dukes responded Wednesday at 2:19 p.m. to a report of two suspicious males in a wooded area near the Enchanted Hills housing addition, Cromwell.
Officers located and searched the reported wooded area, locating several items associated with the production of methamphetamine along with met lab trash.
Officers then noticed two subjects that matched the original description of suspects near the intersection of King Arthur Trail and Beau Peep Lane.
During questioning, officers noted inconsistencies in their statements and then located several illegal drugs belonging to the male subjects.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers stated that finished methamphetamine, pills, crushed sudafedrin and marijuana were collected as evidence.
Slone and Louden are currently being held on $50,000 bonds each in the Kosciusko County Jail.
