Timothy “Tim” Paul Markward, 57, Warsaw, passed away at 4:47 p.m. May 23, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 6, 1956, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Urban G. and Margaret A. McCleary Markward. He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 19 years. He was a 1975 high school graduate from Van Wert. He studied computer science, and worked as a computer programmer for Miller’s Health System in Warsaw until his passing. He enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader and enjoyed the arts. Surviving are his partner, Ron Shaffer, Warsaw; a daughter, Magdalene “Maggie” Markward (and fiancé Cody Webb) and a grandson, Liam Webb, all of Van Wert; three brothers: Dave, Steve (and spouse Loretta) and Ken (and spouse Marie) Markward; two sisters, Elaine (and spouse Donnie) Bragg and Linda Markward (and partner Ginger McKinney) all of Van Wert. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be conducted by his family members at noon Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
