Timothy “Tim” Paul Markward, 57, Warsaw, passed away at 4:47 p.m. May 23, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 6, 1956, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Urban G. and Margaret A. McCleary Markward. He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 19 years. He was a 1975 high school graduate from Van Wert. He studied computer science, and worked as a computer programmer for Miller’s Health System in Warsaw until his passing. He enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader and enjoyed the arts. Surviving are his partner, Ron Shaffer, Warsaw; a daughter, Magdalene “Maggie” Markward (and fiancé Cody Webb) and a grandson, Liam Webb, all of Van Wert; three brothers: Dave, Steve (and spouse Loretta) and Ken (and spouse Marie) Markward; two sisters, Elaine (and spouse Donnie) Bragg and Linda Markward (and partner Ginger McKinney) all of Van Wert. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be conducted by his family members at noon Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
