BOURBON – Timothy L. Overmyer, 63, Argos, passed away at 3:21 p.m. Nov. 28, 2015, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. He was born June 5, 1952, in South Bend, to Lloyd Jr. and Wanda L. Brandisbas Overmyer. On May 6, 1994, he married the love of his life, Kim Poling, who survives. He was a 1971 graduate of Argos High School and attended Apostolic Bible Institute, St. Paul, Minn. He was a lifetime resident of St. Joseph and Marshall counties. He was a heavy equipment operator and member of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150. He also was a very faithful member of the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, cooking and, most of all, his family. Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer and Emily Overmyer, both of Argos; a sister, Valerie Overmyer, South Bend; a brother, Philip (and Lynn) Overmyer, Argos; his dog, Harley; four nieces and six nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Mark Cottrill officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
