Timothy A. Long, 50, Warsaw, passed away at 3:27 a.m. Jan. 1, 2016, in Indiana University Health Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born Sept. 10, 1965, in Plymouth, to William and Beverly Huggins Long. On Sept. 17, 1988, at the Nativity Catholic Church, Portage, he was united in marriage to Susan Belancin, who survives in Warsaw after 27 years of marriage. He was a 1985 graduate of Warsaw High School. He was employed at Holiday Rambler/Monaco Coach for 23 years and then for his family’s business, Hoffman Lake Campground. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, water and snow skiing, riding ATVs and being with his family. He was a handyman who could work on or repair anything that was put in front of him. Also surviving are one daughter, Mariah, and one son, Matthew, both of Warsaw; his parents; one sister, Aime (and spouse Hal) Hoffman, Yellow Creek Lake; two brothers, Mike (and spouse Dara) Long and Mark Long, all of Warsaw; father-in-law, Steve Belancin, Portage; two brothers-in-law, Mark (and spouse Tammy) Belancin, Floral City, Fla., and Mike (and spouse Sandy) Belancin, Valparaiso; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, MaryAnn Belancin, and sister-in-law, Stephanie Streight. Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Robert Seewald officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
