Driving While Intoxicated - Fined $300 in June; given a two-year jail sentence, of which one year was suspended for probation; driving privileges suspended one year; and ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program at Bowen Center, to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel session and to make restitution for damage to a mailbox was Anselmo Infante, 48, Warsaw. Fined $200 in June; given a two-year jail sentence, of which all but 90 days were suspended for probation; driving privileges suspended one year; and ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete an alcohol treatment program at Bowen Center was Robert A. Mansfield, 36, Syracuse. Fined $100 in May; given a three-year jail sentence, of which two years were suspended for probation; driving privileges suspended one year; and ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program at Bowen Center and to make restitution of $250 to insurance company was Diane M. King, 30, Winona Lake. Fined $1,000 in May; given a three-year jail sentence, of which two years were suspended for probation; driving privileges suspended two years; and ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program at Bowen Center and to make restitution of $344.91 to NIPSCO, $459.60 to Warsaw Community Schools and $1,143.01 to Department of Public Works was Stephen Sanchez, 38, Warsaw. Sanchez also was given a one-year suspended jail sentence for resisting law enforcement. His request to serve his jail term in work release was denied. Fined $100 in February; given a 1-1/2-year jail sentence, of which all but 60 days were suspended for probation; driving privileges suspended one year; and ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete an alcohol treatment program at Bowen Center was Patricia J. Stewart, 53, North Webster. Fined $200 in June; given a two-year jail sentence, of which all but 90 days were suspended for probation; driving privileges suspended one year; and ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee, a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete an alcohol treatment program at Bowen Center was Connie J. Walters, 48, Pierceton. Sentenced to one year in February, driving privileges suspended one year; and ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee was Ann M. Ryan, 39, Goshen. Ryan also was convicted of being a habitual traffic violator and was given a three-year jail sentence, of which two years were suspended for probation, her driving privileges were suspended for life and ordered to remain in an alcohol treatment program with Park Center. The two jail terms were ordered served concurrently. Additionally, Ryan was convicted of an October 1999 charge of being a habitual traffic violator and was sentenced to one year in jail, of which all but 30 days were suspended for probation and her driving privileges were suspended for life. This jail term was ordered served consecutively with the above sentences. Fined $201 in June; given a three-year jail sentence, of which one year was suspended for probation; driving privileges suspended two years; and ordered to attend at least two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week was Rudolph Tackett, Warsaw. DeLaMater, 23, Warsaw. Blosser also was convicted of driving while suspended and given a two-year jail sentence, of which all but 90 days were suspended for probation. The terms were ordered served concurrently.
