Superior Court III The following violation were recently admitted and adjudged in Kosciusko Superior Court III with Judge Joe V. Sutton presiding. Unless otherwise indicated, the conviction is for a Class D felony. The month the incident occurred is included to eliminate confusion. The following people also paid $132.50 in court costs during March: Driving While Intoxicated - Fined $67.50 from a March offense; sentenced to 1-1/2 years in prison, of which all but 60 days were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation; and driving privileges suspended one year was Thomas Harland Brookman, 52, Claypool. The prison term can be served in work release if Brookman is qualified and accepted to the program. Fined $167.50 from a February 2002 offense; sentenced to six months in prison; ordered to pay a $200 state alcohol countermeasure fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation, following any recommendations as to treatment; and driving privileges suspended one year was Sterling E. Templeton, 22, Warsaw. The prison term can be served in work release if Templeton is qualified and accepted to the program. Fined $67.50 from an October 2001 offense; sentenced to 18 months in prison, of which 16 months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation, following any recommendations for treatment; and driving privileges suspended one year was Dennis E. Lemberg, 44, Syracuse. The prison term can be served in work release if Lemberg is qualified and accepted to the program. Fined $67.50 from a May 2001 offense; sentenced to 18 months in prison, of which 12 months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete a substance abuse evaluation and follow any recommendations as to treatment and to attend a session of the Victim's Impact Panel; and driving privileges suspended one year was Sherry L. Brooks, Warsaw. The prison term can be served in work release if Brooks is qualified and accepted to the program. Leaving The Scene Of A Personal Injury Accident (Class A Misdemeanor) - Fined $100 from a December offense, given a one-year suspended jail term and ordered to pay a $25 initial and $10 monthly probation user's fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation and follow any recommendations as to treatment was Justin M. Rees, 24, Warsaw.
