WABASH - The Wabash Valley Music Association will welcome Time for Three, a young trio of string musicians, and the Purduettes, a women's vocal group from Purdue University, to the Honeywell Center in downtown Wabash Saturday at 7:30 p.m.Tickets for the show are $20 and $10 for adults, and $10 and $5 for youth through high school. They can be purchased by calling 260-563-1102, visiting www.honeywellcenter.org or by dialing *tix from your Centennial Wireless phone.

Described by San Francisco's View from the Bay as "young, hip musicians who break all the stereotypes" Time for Three will bring down the curtain on the 2007-2008 WVMA Series.

Time for Three is the future of music, said Simon Rattle, director of the Berlin Philharmonic. The group - founded in 1999 by three Curtis Institute of Music students - is set on exploring music that reaches far beyond the limits of convention. In concert, the trio may play a bluegrass standard and follow it with gypsy music, a number by the Beatles or one of their own arrangements of a Brahms selection.

The trio consists of double bassist Ranaan Meyer and violinists Zach De Pue and Nicholas Kendall. The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra recently named De Pue as its Concertmaster; however, he will continue to perform with Time for Three.
