The Warsaw Tigers boys basketball team will travel to Indianapolis Saturday to play the Rochester Zebras in one of six games in the Big Rivals at Butler University’s Hinkle Fieldhouse event.
The game was originally scheduled to be played Friday at Rochester, and the junior varsity will still follow through with that with a 5:30 p.m. start. However, the varsity will meet the following day in one of the country’s most historic venues, with a scheduled tip-off of 12:45 p.m.
Batesville will meet South Ripley at 11 a.m., followed by the matchup between Warsaw and Rochester. Lebanon and Western Boone girls will meet at 2:30 p.m. with the boys teams them matching up at 4:15 p.m. Connersville will face Pendleton Heights at 6 p.m., and Franklin Community plays Hauser at 7:45 p.m. to conclude the event.
Tickets go on sale Friday in the Warsaw Community High School athletic office. Tickets are $10 in advance, but may also be purchased for $12 at the door.
