Tickets Available For Jazz On The Lawn Event At Honeywell House

Posted
WABASH – The Honeywell House will present Jazz on the Lawn, an outdoor concert featuring the Sam Fazio Sextet Aug. 1.
First Merchants Bank and Lundquist Appraisal & Real Estate are lead sponsors for the annual event, that serves as a fundraiser for the Honeywell House and its cultural programming events.
Chicago native Sam Fazio’s sound has an overtly Sinatra influence. His music is known as hip, elegant and bold; putting a new spin on familiar favorites as he interprets jazz standards and the American Songbook with class and respect.
Fazio has performed to sold-out shows at classic Chicago jazz clubs like Andy’s Jazz Club and Segal’s Jazz Showcase, and can be seen regularly at many venues throughout Chicagoland. In addition, he frequently performs shows outside the Chicago area, and recently returned from a performance in New York City at the legendary Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency.
Fazio’s sophomore CD, “I Wish You Love,” was recently released and has received much acclaim from media and radio outlets.
Those attending the performance are encouraged to bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy the shaded area along Charley Creek. Food and beverage tents will be available for guests to purchase their favorite refreshments. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Honeywell Center’s Legacy Hall. Parking will be available at the Honeywell House, Christ United Methodist Church, Wabash High School and the American Health Network parking lot. The Wabash County Transit will run from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. between Wabash High School and the Honeywell House.
Concert tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth through high school, and $250 for tables of eight (a limited number of tables are available). Tables purchased come with a gourmet welcome basket.  The lawn opens at 5 p.m. and the performance begins at 7 p.m.
