Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Deputies investigate a collision on CR 400 S., 1900 feet south of CR 200 S., Warsaw, Thursday afternoon.
Pearl Maish, 55, South 400 West, Warsaw, told deputies that she swerved to miss a trash truck and veered off the road and struck a utility pole. The driver of the trash truck informed deputies that he heard a horn honk and saw Maish traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision.
Maish complained of neck pain. Maish was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Mentone EMS, Multi-Township EMS, and Burket Fire Department assisted. Damages were estimated at $10,000 to $25,000.
