NORTH MANCHESTER – Thurman L. Bitzell, 83, North Manchester, died at 2:45 a.m. Nov. 4, 2014, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester. He was born Sept. 5, 1931, in Wabash, to Raymond L. and Ruth L. Gill Bitzell. His companion, Edna J. Bitzell, died Sept. 30, 2011. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Mary Lu Mikesell officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
