Three teens were injured in a two-vehicle collision in southern Kosciusko County Saturday afternoon.
Billy J. Blair, 19, of Leesburg, and his passenger, Jermiah Setser, 14, Warsaw, were airlifted to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, after Blair lost control of the car and collided with a small truck driven by Darvin Setser, 17, of Warsaw. Darvin and Jermiah are brothers, police said.
Both Blair and Jermiah Setser were listed in critical condition at Parkview Hospital this morning.
Darvin Setser suffered minor injuries in the accident.
Blair was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro on CR 400E, north of CR 600S, when he attempted to pass Darvin Setser's 1985 Chevrolet S10. Blair lost control of the Camaro and sideswiped the truck. After hitting the truck, the Camaro left the road, rolled over several times and hit a utility pole before coming to a stop in a cornfield.
Police believe speed was a factor in the crash.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene of the crash by the Pierceton police and fire departments and EMS, Sidney Fire Department, Multi-Township EMS and Samaritan Air Ambulance.
