Three Teens Hurt In Crash

Three Warsaw teens were injured when the car they were riding in rolled over on County Farm Road near Warsaw Friday evening.

Jada Marshal, 15, of Warsaw, was injured when she was thrown from the 1991 Toyota and the vehicle rolled on top of her around 10:35 p.m. Friday. Marshal was freed from under the car and then airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne by the Lutheran Air Ambulance. She was listed in critical condition shortly after the accident, but she was not listed in the hospital's patient registry this morning.

The driver of the car, Jamie Albert, 16, Warsaw, suffered moderate injuries. The other passenger in the vehicle, Kacie Wallace, 14, Warsaw, was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, for moderate injuries suffered in the accident.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Albert was driving the Toyota southbound on County Farm Road near CR 400S when she tried to pass another vehicle. Albert saw a northbound car and swerved off the road, rolling over several times.

The accident remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department. The Warsaw Fire Department, Claypool Fire Department, Winona Lake Fire Department, Multi-Township EMS, Winona Lake Police Department and Lutheran Air Ambulance assisted at the scene.
