GREENWOOD – Three Manchester University men’s basketball players were recognized on postseason Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference teams on Tuesday. The Spartans’ Adrian Johnson was named Freshman of the Year and first-team All-HCAC. Johnson ranked second in the conference in scoring during conference play, averaging 18.8 points per game and also ranked among the leaders with 1.7 steals and 4.2 assists per game. Senior guard Brady Dolezal earned honorable mention. He started 20 of 26 games in his final season, averaging 13.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He was second on the team to with 61 assists, 18 blocked shots and 29 steals. Spartan junior Chase Casteel was one of 10 HCAC players named to the All Sportsmanship team.
