Three Injured In Two-Vehicle AccidentThree people were injured after a two-vehicle collision Saturday at the intersection of CRs 400N and 800W.

At 9:40 p.m. Saturday, a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Ashley Hackworth, 34, Warsaw, was traveling west on CR 400N, approaching CR 800W, prior to the collision, according to information provided by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Francis.

The pickup disregarded the stop sign at CR 800W and was hit by a southbound 2018 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Tessa Lawson, 20, Elkhart. Hackworth’s vehicle subsequently overturned and both vehicles came to rest on the southwest side of the intersection

Hackworth, Lawson and a passenger in Lawson’s vehicle, Logan Lawson, 19, Elkhart, were taken by ground ambulance from the scene to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, the release states..

The crash remains under investigation.
