Three people were injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 700S, at the overpass near Claypool. According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, a pickup driven by Tonya L. Honeycutt, 19, of Silver Lake, pulled from CR 700S into the path of a northbound car driven by Kay A. Wright, 51, of Silver Lake. Wright told police she attempted to swerve but was unable to avoid the collision. Wright's car struck Honeycutt's pickup in the driver's door. Upon impact, Honeycutt's pickup rolled onto its passenger side. Honeycutt complained of hip pain and Wright complained of knee pain. They and a passenger in Honeycutt's pickup, Blake Honeycutt, were treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital and released. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
