Two people were ejected from a van during an accident Thursday afternoon in the stretch of Ind. 25 near Warsaw known as the "Devil's Backbone." A second accident occurred two minutes after the 4:44 p.m. crash. Details about the first accident were not available today. The second accident took place when a pickup rounded a curve and slid on the wet pavement when attempting to stop. Sandra F. Meadows, 50, of West CR 600S, Claypool, complained of knee pain after her vehicle went down an embankment and struck a tree. She refused medical attention. Pictured are emergency crews tending to one of the unidentified victims who was ejected from the van involved in the initial accident.
