Staff Report-
Emergency personnel responded Thursday at 8:44 a.m. to Armstrong Road near Lundy’s Green House after a 911 call of a vehicular crash with injuries. Responding officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department and the North Webster Police Department stated that the initial crash investigation determined that Don R. Tricker, 62, Leesburg, had slowed his Chrysler P.T. Cruiser while travelling on the roadway for a tractor that was mowing the ditchline/shoulder area. David M. Snyder, 21, Leesburg, approached from behind and struck the rear portion of the P.T. Cruiser with his Dodge Durango. Tricker and his wife, front seat passenger Betty L. Tricker, 59, Leesburg, were both injured and complained of pain in their neck. Snyder also was injured and complained of pain in his neck and chest area. All three individuals were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital in fair/stable condition. Also assisting at the scene was the North Webster/Tippecanoe Township EMS and Fire Department. Damaged was estimated at $10,000-25,000.
