Three people were arrested after two meth labs were discovered in Warsaw, including one hidden by a pile of snow behind a store.
Undercover officers raided 440 Wexford Place. Shamra Lee Shepherd, 28, and Charles David Shepherd Jr., 19, both of that residence, were arrested after police found an active meth lab.
Orville E. Erhart, 35, of 1202 Wooster Road, Lot 1, Winona Lake, was arrested after visiting the Wexford residence. Erhart was booked into Kosciusko County Jail on dealing methamphetamine, failure to appear and theft. His bond was $22,000.
The Shepherds both were booked on dealing methamphetamine and held on $10,000 bonds.
When detained, Charles Shepherd and Erhart told police of another active meth lab behind a snow embankment behind the J.C. Penny's store in Warsaw.
Meth precursors also were found in Charles Shepherd's vehicle. A fourth person is expected to be charged today.
Charles Shepherd and Erhart were found hiding in an undisclosed business's bathroom with meth on them by Warsaw Police Department Cpl. Al Danko and his canine unit.
