Three Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

A traffic stop led to the arrest of three people on drug-related charges last week.
On Dec. 28, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department stopped Justin Yoder, 28, Goshen, for failing to use his turn signal and a loud exhaust.
During the stop, the K9 unit, Marko, was called to the scene. Marko was able to find meth on Yoder, according to court documents.
In addition to the drugs, police found a handgun and ammunition in Yoder’s vehicle, charging documents state.
Yoder allegedly told police he had received the meth from Dylan Davis.
Yoder was arrested for possession of  meth and possession of a firearm as violent and serious felon.
Davis, 21, of 640 Deerfield Path, Warsaw, was arrested on a outstanding warrant in his vehicle later that day. A passenger with Davis told police she delivered heroin for Davis.
Police obtained a search warrant for Davis’ residence.  During the search, police found 14.4 grams of heroin, 6.9 grams of meth, three digital scales and one ledger with names and prices.
Davis was charged with two counts of dealing narcotics, both level 2 felonies, and two counts of possession of  narcotics, both level four felonies.
The investigation led police to Abigail Cuban, who also resides at Davis’ residence. Cuban was not home during the search.
Police found Cuban slumped over in her car at her parents’ residence. When officers woke her, she appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, court documents state.
Police found 1.9 grams of heroin and less then a gram of methenamine in Cuban’s car.
Police say Cuban told them she had been dealing meth.
Cuban was charged with one count with dealing methamphetamine, one count of possession of a narcotic  and one count of possession of meth.
