Three Face Charges After Meth Busts

Three people have been arrested on charges related to methamphetamine in Kosciusko County in the past three days.

The first arrest came Friday afternoon near Pierceton.

Around 3:15 p.m. Friday, Pierceton Deputy Marshal Jim Bumbaugh contacted the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force to assist with an arrest near the intersection of CR 600E and Van Ness Road.Mark Allen Holbrook, 31, of Wayside Court, Warsaw, was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on charges of possession of legends or precursors to the manufacturing of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. He also had an outstanding warrant in a civil matter. His bond was set at $3,093.94.

The other two arrested came Sunday morning near 832 E. Market St., Warsaw, after officers from the Warsaw Police Department received an anonymous tip about a possible methamphetamine lab at a residence.

When officers arrived at the residence, Chase Allen Elder, Warsaw, and Stephanie Lynn Farrell, Claypool, were outside. Officers found drug precursors and items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine inside the home.

Elder, 24, of Second Trail, Warsaw, was arrested for dealing methamphetamine and possession of legends or precursors to manufacturing methamphetamine. His bond was set at $10,000.

Farrell, 33, of Kokomo Road, Claypool, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Her bond was set at $2,000.
