DAVIESS COUNTY – At approximately 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Indiana State Police Trooper Steve Nolan was patrolling CR 900E near Cannelburg when he attempted to stop a silver passenger vehicle for speeding.
The driver initially attempted to elude Nolan. A short time later, Trooper Nolan located the vehicle and identified the driver as William Bradley, 39, Loogootee. The two passengers were identified as Devyn Earl, 25, Etna Green, and Jociah Earl, 28, Loogootee, according to a news release from ISP.
While speaking with the occupants, Nolan observed indicators of possible criminal activity and requested assistance from additional officers. Following their arrival, a search of the vehicle was conducted.
During the search, officers located suspected marijuana and approximately 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Bradley, Devyn Earl and Jociah Earl were arrested and transported to the Daviess County Jail, where they are being held on bond. During the investigation, a criminal history check revealed Bradley also had an active warrant out of Martin County.
Bradley was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; possession of marijuana with a prior, a class a misdemeanor; and a warrant out of Martin County.
Devyn M. Earl was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine over 10 grams with a firearm, a level 3 felony; and possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor.
Jociah CT. Earl was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine with a prior, a level 6 felony; and possession of marijuana with a prior, a class A misdemeanor.
All suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
