Thompson-Thrift Begins Warsaw Commons Construction

Thompson-Thrift has begun construction of an approximately 80,000-square-foot expansion of its Warsaw Commons retail center.
Warsaw Commons is located on Ind. 15 and CR 300N north of Kohl’s.
The expansion is to be completed in late summer of this year. A grand opening is anticipated in the fall, according to Ashlee Boyd, senior vice president of Thompson-Thrift.
Thompson-Thrift will serve as the general contractor for the project.
T.J. Maxx, Ulta Beauty, PetSmart, and Shoe Carnival recently signed leases for the expanded Warsaw Commons, Boyd said.
These four retailers join anchor tenant Kohl’s, Anytime Fitness, Verizon Wireless, Quizno’s, Aspen Dental, Taco Bell and Dollar Tree as tenants at Warsaw Commons.
“Our team has worked hard over the past several months to pull together the expansion and we are very pleased to finally be in a position to make this announcement,” Boyd said.
“We believe the project will provide a unique and exciting shopping destination for the residents of Warsaw and the surrounding communities.”
The project’s initial phase included the construction of Kohl’s. An adjoining structure for Dollar Tree was built recently.
