Earl and Ruby Thompson, 8780 W. CR 600S, Claypool, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary March 10. The couple was married March 10, 1951, in Warsaw. Both are retired farmers. They spent their winters for 20 years in Sebring. Fla. The couple loves to travel, fish, camp and mushroom hunt. The couple has one daughter, Peggy Bailey, Bloomington; and two sons, Bill, Claypool, and Duane, Mentone. They have six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. An open house will be from 2 to 4 p.m. March 13 at the Burket Fire Station. The couple requests no gifts.
