Thomas L. Schell

DECATUR – Thomas L. Schell, 66, of Decatur, died Oct. 4, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital. He was born July 8, 1946, in Decatur, to the late James and Harriet Mosser Schell. On Aug. 27, 1966, he married Barbara K. Reed, who survives. Also surviving are a son; a daughter; three sisters, including Lani (and spouse Kim) Bussard, Warsaw, and Annie (and spouse Gary) Cook, Syracuse; and three grandchildren. A prayer service will be at 9:20 a.m. Monday at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur, followed by a 10 a.m. service at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with Father David Voors officiating. Burial will be at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Calling is from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with reciting of the holy rosary at 4 p.m. ***** Memorials to the Family.
