NAPPANEE - Thomas G. Willard Jr., 49, died May 27, 2010, in his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He had recently been diagnosed with metastatic cancer.
He was born May 2, 1961.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He bartended at his mother's place of business, Sharron's Broadway, and formerly worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Gulf War.
Surviving are two sons, Bryce and Craig; a grandson; his father, Albert Heyvaert; two brothers, Jeffrey (and spouse Cathy) Willard and Michael (and spouse Denise) Heyvaert; a sister, Michelle Heyvaert-Baxter; the mother of his children, Novalene Witham; and his grandfather, Lloyd L. Long.
A memorial service is planned for a later date to be announced by his family.
