CANTON, Ohio – Thomas E. Witmer, 39, died Oct. 4, 2012, of injuries from a motorcycle accident in Indiana.
He was born in Canton, Ohio.
He lived in Warsaw the last seven years. He was a 1991 graduate of Perry High School, Massillon, Ohio, and the University of Cincinnati in 1996. He was a managing engineer at Zimmer Corp. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving are his father, Norman E. Witmer, Canton; three sisters: Karen Witmer, Cleveland, Ohio; Christine McCoury, Dover, Ohio; and Cynthia (and spouse James) Steiner, Canal Fulton, Ohio; a brother, Steven (and spouse Kimberly) Witmer, Norwalk, Ohio; and special friend, Joyce McCartney, Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lamiell Funeral Home, Canton, with Fr. William Kraynak officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Canton.
