BOURBON - Thomas A. Huggins, 75, of 1606 The Pass of Winona Lake, died at 5:20 a.m. Dec. 29, 2008, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born Sept. 22, 1933, in Bourbon, to Clayton and Violet Conrad Huggins. On Jan. 22, 1955, he married Mary Tinney, who died Jan. 5, 2007.

He retired from Zimmer Corp. after 30 years. He was a member of Kosciusko Emergency Radio (KEMRAD).

Surviving are two daughters, Donna (and spouse Rick) Hackworth, Warsaw, and Deb Cosgrove, Winona Lake; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sisters, Beverly (and spouse Bill) Long, Hoffman Lake, and Peg (and spouse Bill) Baumgartner, Lake Placid, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with the Rev. Chad Burkhart officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
