KNOX -ÊAfter scoring just four points in the third quarter, the Triton Trojan boys basketball team fell to Knox 68-53.
At the half Triton held a slim two-point lead, but Knox outscored the Trojans 42-25 in the second half to earn the win.
Knox won the game in the third quarter by outscoring Triton 20-4. The Redskins used full-court pressure to force the Trojans into eight third-quarter turnovers. Triton went from leading 28-26 at halftime to trailing 46-32 after the third quarter.
Brandon Zeider led the Triton squad with 19 points, while Jim Read added 10 points.
Triton fell to 9-9 on the season and 3-4 in the Northern State Conference. Knox improved to 17-2 overall and 6-0 in the NSC.
