Josh Bartman's letter to you about what a very good president Sen. Obama of Illinois would make made me very happy.
Sen. Obama is a fresh, bright, young politician with ideas we have all been thinking about for eight years. Years of the Republicans that has set this country back for a long time. The "Republican mess" I call it.
Now Obama has syndicated columnist Cal Thomas on his back as well as Sen. John McCain over trivial nothings. They both think he is too hopeful, too sure of big change. Thomas ruined John Kerry's chances in 2004 by the same tactics (hit me as very shallow talk).
John McCain is a veteran, saw rough times, so am I - a four-year World War II vet with three years in the Pacific, but come on, John. We are too old, and remember - McCain is a friend and supporter of George W. Bush, and has been, and will go along with his policies if elected!
Hillary is far from having enough stamina and emotional strength to handle the job, as has been shown on the TV debates, and do we want Bill Clinton back in the White House? Remember how we were all upset over his impeachment - a long, long embarrassing time. Think Obama, please!
