Fitch's jewelry store in Warsaw was broken into possibly over the weekend, according to Warsaw Police.
Police were alerted Monday night to the burglary at the store at 325 Argonne Road. The store has been temporarily closed and a relative of the owners who checked on the business discovered the break-in about 6 p.m. Monday.
A safe had been broken into and a phone line had been cut. Police believe entry into the building was made through a door, which was damaged.
Authorities were unsure what was taken from the store.
The reported burglary remains under investigation.
