ELKHART – Theodore T. Routh, 74, North Webster, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 25, 201, at his home. He was born Oct. 29, 1940, in Muncie, to Jonathan B. and Caroline A. Orr Routh. On Jan. 18, 1984, in Warsaw, he married Judith “Judy” Neihardt Perez, who survives. He graduated in 1958 from Muncie Central High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a 35-year member of American Legion Post #253, North Webster, and he enjoyed fishing. Theodore was a fourth generation plasterer and was a master at his trade. Also surviving are a daughter, Teresa Hunter, Muncie; three stepchildren: Cindy (and spouse Bob) Mollete, Milford; Jenny Perez and Genaro Julio (and spouse Maria Alicia) Perez, all of Dominican Republic; nine grandchildren: Josh, Raul, Alex, Nicole, Manuel, Danielle, Genaro, Isabella and Paula; a great-grandson, Adrian; a brother, Jonathan B. (and spouse Cyndi) Routh, North Webster; three nephews: John P., Brian and Chris; and a niece, Angela. A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. March 14 at the North Webster American Legion, 756 S. Ind. 13, with Fr. Larry R. Biller, affiliated with the All Saints Episcopal Church, Syracuse, and Chaplain Russ Chandler, North Webster American Legion, officiating. Full military honors will follow the service. Cremation will take place.
