NORTH MANCHESTER – The Rev. Noel Reed Jr., North Manchester, passed away at 7:36 a.m. June 16, 2015, in his residence. He was born Feb. 20, 1934, in Roanoke, to Noel Sr. and Lilly Mendenhall Reed. He and his spouse, Maurine, retired in 2002 and made their home in North Manchester. He retired from an active life as a junior-senior high school educator, school administrator and church pastor. His testimony might as well be, "Life has been full with God present in all things wherein I have been involved in service to others in the name of Jesus Christ." Survivors include seven children: Larry (and spouse Felicity), Larnica, Cyprus and Gary Reed, all of St. Louis, Mo.; Linda (and spouse Timothy) Wallace, Hartford City; Greg (and spouse Colleen) Reed, Wabash; and Kevin Reed, Logansport; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Nola “Dolly” Osmon, Fort Wayne; Lawrence “Corky” (and spouse Bonnie) Reed, Columbia City; and Charles “Butch” (and spouse Sally) Reed, Fort Wayne; Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester, and a graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gardens of Memory, Marion.
