The Line To Celebrity Filming of ABC’s “The Bachelor” created a line Friday night at Rex’s Rendezvous downtown Warsaw where the television show’s star, Ben Higgins, was scheduled to have a date with one of the bachelorettes. Warsaw Community High School 2008 graduate Ben Higgins was a fan favorite on last season’s “The Bachelorette,” and then was named the next “Bachelor” in August. Filming for the romance reality show is taking place around Warsaw and Winona Lake all weekend. A carnival is scheduled for Sunday night, starting around 7 p.m., with filming to take place during the event. Pictured is Rex’s Rendezvous owner Robin Watters (R, at door) answering some questions about the wait around 7:30 p.m. Higgins didn’t make an appearance until after 8 p.m. Friday, though people were lined up hours before. A show producer would not let media in the local bar while filming was taking place. The next season of “The Bachelor” begins in January.
