Editor, Times-Union: By now, readers of this newspaper have heard about the ruling of a federal judge here in Pennsylvania who overturned our state’s ban on same-sex marriage. The news reported across the commonwealth how homosexual and lesbian pairs were cheering in the streets in cities across Pennsylvania and applying for marriage licenses. This is all beyond sick, sad and pathetic. It just goes to add more proof to the truth and accuracy of the Holy Bible and its warnings and prophecies concerning the state of this entire world and the very dark depths that men’s and women’s hearts would sink to in these days preceding the return of Jesus Christ. In 1 John 2:15, the word of God reads “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.” Continuing in the next passage, 1 John 2:16, “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world.” This is just one of many things which are now quickly leading up to the rise of a being called “anti-Christ,” and when this individual finally rises to power, the peoples of the world will have to make the most important personal decision of their lives: Join the ranks of the followers of this evil, demonic mad man (as the people of many European countries did in the 1930s and 1940s by following Hitler) or give their hearts to Jesus Christ and endure tremendous persecution, violence, abuse and loss, but gaining a new life, body and name in eternity at peace with God. We are living in “perilous times,” as Jesus warned would come just before His return, but Christ has made a way for anyone who would come to Him in repentance to receive his forgiveness. This world is soon to experience an upheaval to everyone’s way of life, far worse than many of the dictators or tyrants in history ever were. It may seem hard to believe but it is very real, and the time for anyone to keep playing games is finished. Jesus equals “life” but “anti-Christ” is a sure path ot unimaginable torment and sorrow.
