PIERCETON - The 3863 Venue held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce to show off their event space in Pierceton on Friday, Oct. 30.
The owner of 3863 Venue and marketing manager for the Pierceton Chamber of Commerce, Sarah McClanahan, operates the venue to host weddings, corporate events, baby showers and more. Found at the Old Train Depot, 115 E. Market St., Pierceton, The 3863 can host up to 50 to 60 people, with a maximum capacity of 125.
The 3863 started out as the 3863 Barn, moved to where Salt + Light Coffee Co. currently is, then ended up at the Old Train Depot in April. McClanahan took ownership in July.
“I want to be more involved and a part of the community,” said McClanahan. “I want the people of Kosciusko to know about this special place.”
Inside the venue, there is elegant china, glasses and silverware for guests' use. McClanahan noted the venue is versatile with the decorations and dinnerware included when guests book. The decorations, such as the table runners, can be changed to match whatever color scheme the guests have in mind.
The 3863 does not offer catering services, but McClanahan can give recommendations on caterers for her guests. Guests are also allowed to bring in non-alcoholic drinks.
“We try to make it as stress-free as possible,” said McClanahan. “It’s a unique venue … (it is) a nice place to celebrate and have a party for those special events in life.”
