Texting While Driving

I don’t like it when people text while driving. I don’t think they should. It is very dangerous. It’s dangerous for you and for others.

If you are texting while driving you could get into a car wreck. You could hurt yourself and others. You could be texting your friend about what you are going to do tonight and then ... boom! There are no plans for tonight! You are gone forever.

If you are texting while driving you could hit someone. What if you are texting a friend and you aren’t paying attention? You come up to Main Street, you finally look up from your phone, and there is a little girl with her mother. When you look up it is too late and you hit them.

If you are texting while driving you could hurt yourself. Say you are driving around town and come up to Maple Avenue and there’s another person texting. You guys could get into a wreck. You could get killed! You could have killed them.

I think it’s important to stop texting and driving. It causes a lot of problems. I hope you guys stay safe and stop texting while driving. I care about you and I hope you stay safe!
