Teressa D. JohnsonTeressa D. Johnson, 66, of Warsaw, passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021, as the result of a vehicle accident near Pierceton, along with her daughter, Amanda Johnson.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1954, in Columbia City, to Louis A. and Catherine L. Young Jones.
She graduated in 1973 from Columbia City High School, attended Ivy Tech College in Warsaw and was a lifetime Columbia City/Warsaw area resident. She was employed at Biomet in Warsaw for the past 22 years in Regulatory Affairs and formerly worked at a cable company.
She is survived by son, Christopher (Heather) Johnson, of Van Buren; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Yvonna Jones (twin sister), of Warsaw; and Yolonda Johnson, of Chelsea, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Robert Kettlebar.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 5 at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. Private family services will be at a later date.
